Tazza c1861
An elegant tazza or comport in a pretty shade of lilac. Made by George Lockett and Thomas Cooper of Hanley in partnership June 1861 to December 1862. Backstamp: printed Maltese Scroll in cartouche and registration mark for 20 December 1861 for the printed design. Impressed mark of crown over garter, with Cooper & Lockett (sic?) in garter. Difficult to desiper as printed marks are over the impressed one. Some wear around the outer rim and overall tiny brown blemishes.
Dimensions: 25.5 cm diameter, 15 cm high / 10 ins diameter, 6 ins high
