Lovely little tureen with hand applied enamel colour to the pattern and green rim. The stand has light crazing otherwise excellent condition. The tureen has a little crazing under the rim otherwise also excellent condition. The ladle has light crazing, a little smudging of red here and there and also a hairline to the bowl making it a piece for display only. The cover is in excellent condition.

Ewer c1910
A magnificent large ewer printed in dark flow blue with hand painted colour in rusts and deep reds. The moulded dolphin handle is in cobalt with gilt decoration. The rims have gilt line decoration.
It has a hairline of approximately 2.25" to the body otherwise shines like new! As the ewer is quite narrow at 6.5ins 16cm it would sit well on a narrow window sill or shelf.

This is an extremely rare condiment set in Norfolk because it is both complete and in excellent condition. The base has three compartments for the salt and pepper shakers and covered mustard to sit in. The mustard pot cover has a cut out for a spoon.
It would be difficult to better the condition. A few signs of use, with a tiny scratch to the glaze on the top of the salt and a few speckles in the glaze on the rim of mustard and two tiniest of nibbles to the glaze on the foot rim. Most would describe it as perfect, but we like to be picky. On all four pieces the glaze is bright and not crazed. It really is the loveliest small set.
Typical blue printed backstamp on stand with lion, crown and Doulton "daisy", with Made in England and England, plus the two registration numbers. This mark was in use 1931-1940.
