This is absolutely stunning. A soup tureen and stand with extremely ornate moulded detail to the side handles and finial.

A few minor signs of wear to the stand and a little surface scratching inside the tureen. The lid has a little wear to the inner rim and a hairline crack of 2" radiating out from the centre however this is mainly noticeable from underneath. Overall an absolutely fabulous set.

This is an absolutely superb set of tureen, stand, cover and ladle.

The gorgeous ladle also has light crazing with some light discolouration and some minor glazing blemishes on the outside of the bowl. Dessert Plate c1840
Camilla was one of the first designs introduced in 1833 after the Spode business had been transferred to Copeland and Garrett. It is one of the most attractive designs from that era and printed in an especially subtle shade of blue. The central spray is thought to be of the Tea plant Camellia Sinensis, hence the pattern name.
This octagonal plate is in excellent condition, although the glaze is a bit speckly and one or two blemishes in the printing. All adds to the charm!
Blue impressed backstamp Copeland and Garrett late Spode and impressed Copeland and Garrett. These backstamps were in use 1833 to 1847, but who knows this could be one of the first plates made.

Back stamp blue printed and impressed Copeland. There is a very small unsprung rim chip, a little discolouration to the rim and some minor fine crazing. All in all not bad for a soup plate that is 128 years old!
