Very pretty tureen complete with ladle, stand and cover. Stand has some light crazing otherwise excellent. It is impressed with the date for 1898. The tureen has two side scroll handles a little light crazing and some brown mottling inside only. The little ladle has a lovely crinkly body with border pattern around the inside rim only. The pattern is just a little smudged and there is a tiny minor rub to the end of the stem otherwise fine. The cover is just a shade too big, but this isn't a problem. It has light crazing and the handle has a small minor firing crack otherwise fine. All in all a very pretty set.

This is a really unusual piece. The border design is taken from Tower. In Delft pattern various views decorate the centres, this one is supposedly Glenmire Bridge but is in fact Bridge of Lucano. (Some of the names given to the scenes are incorrect) This pattern was later called Merriemount.
This round tray has a fluted rim. It has light crazing and there are a few minor rubs to the rim otherwise it is in lovely condition with barely a scratch to the surface. Blue printed backstamp: Delft Rd No 226336 Spode Copeland England, Glenmire Bridge. Impressed Spode Imp. and date for 1893.
