Maker: Unattributed Maker  Pattern: Unidentified Pattern

One of the best and earliest antique chinoiserie jugs we have seen for a while. We have yet to identify the pattern but watch this space! It has a most unusual border pattern. The glaze of this jug is crazed and there are a few minor signs of wear to the handle. There is a small "blob" of ink from the transfer on the foot of the jug (visible in the thumbnail photograph), otherwise this is a lovely jug in excellent condition.
