Maker: Brownfield  Pattern: Grecian Statue

Grecian Statue was introduced about 1840, but was also made in the 1890s. The printing plates for this design were bought by W T Copleand in 1900. This plate is printed in really deep flow blue with delicate gilt highlights and gilt line to rim.
Impressed backstamp for Brownfield & Sons and blue printed Brownfields garter mark with Grecian Statute, England.
The glaze is finely crazed and one plate has a tiny nick to the rim. Little wear to the gilt, but really lovely design and bright and clean.
