Maker: Woolley Pattern: Ornate Pagodas
This design is normally attributed to Richard Woolley of Longton, Staffordshire active 1809 to 1814. A most attractive plate, with truly ornate Chinoiserie design.
The glaze is crazed and there is a hairline running in for about 1.25 ins from the rim, with a few tiny flakes lost along it on the face. Overall bright and clean.
No maker's backstamp.
