Maker: Unattributed Maker  Pattern: Italian Scenery

At first glance this design is reminiscent of both Spode Blue Italian and Leeds Italian Scenery. However, it is neither and both maker and pattern name are yet to be identified, although a similar plate did feature in Friends of Blue Bulletin 111.
Quite delightful scene with even the sunlight shown streaming through the ruined arch.
Minor nick to rim and glazing fault on rim from manufacture, but excellent condition overall. The glaze is sound and the plate bright and clean.
No maker's backstamp.
