Maker: Unattributed Maker Pattern: Unidentified Pattern
At first glance this design is similar to Mandarin, but there are no birds and the tree in the centre foreground is what is usually considered to be a Buddleia, rather than Willow. It is pearlware and printed in a deep blue.
Apart from a few signs of wear and some minor rubbing to the rim this plate is in excellent condition.
No maker's backstamp.
Provenance: The personal collection of Gresham Copeland, passing by descent to his son Robert Copeland. Collection identification label on back AGC 58.
