The scene depicts Nuneham Courtenay, Oxfordshire, the seat of the Earl Harcourt, set in grounds laid out by Capability Brown around 1780.
This is a lovely stand beautifully decorated. Crazed with some associated staining it also has some wear and discolouration to the rim. Overall a lovely piece and sounds much worse than it looks.
Dimensions: 25 cm diameter, 7 cm high / 10 ins diameter, 2.75 ins high
