Maker: Middlesbrough Pottery Pattern: Dresden Views
Middlesbrough Pottery Co produced the charming Dresden Views pattern, which is actually a series of different views on the various pieces in the complete service. This particular view is a delightful romantic scene that is both well engraved and printed and here on a lightly potted large rectangular dish. The dish is an unusual piece to find and makes a striking display, both flat or on a stand. The glaze is finely crazed, but excellent condition overall.
Backstamp: Dresden Views and impressed Middlesbro Pottery.
Dimensions: 32 x 27 cm 5 cm high / 12.5 x 10.5 ins 2 ins high
