Maker: Bathwell and Goodfellow Pattern: Bridge of Lucano
The scene depicts the Bridge of Lucano in Italy and is believed to have been derived from an engraving in Merigot's Views of Rome and its Vicinity.
The glaze is crazed with just a hint of discolouration and a little wear around the outer rim. The surface has a little minor scratching but overall this is a lovely plate and still shines like new!
Blue printed backstamp of a crown within laurel leaves and a ribbon with the words Bridge of Lucano Italy, which is believed to have been used by Bathwell & Goodfellow.
Dimensions: 25 cm / 9.75 ins
