Maker: Davenport Pattern: British Scenery lilac
Very pretty little piece with lovely pine cone finial and all printed in a pale shade of lilac.
Backstamp: Printed Davenport and impressed date for October 1869.
The base is crazed and discoloured with a little wear and two tiny tiny chips to the inner rim. The cover has light crazing and a small stress crack to the cover. Sounds awful but actually this is a very pretty piece.
