Maker: Unattributed Maker Pattern: Unidentified Pattern black
This is a wonderful Marriage jug, with lustre rims to the neck and foot and the inscription M & M with clasped hands beneath the spout.
No backstamp but probably Scottish.
There is a little wear to the lustre and to the handle, plus a touch of blue smudging here and there but overall excellent condition and a most unusual piece.
Dimensions: 1.35 ltr, 22.5 cm high / 2.25 pint, 8.75 ins high
