A delightful romantic landscape scene on a really wonderful large jug. Made by Read and Clementson of High Street, Shelton, Staffordshire active 1833 to 1835.
Backstamp: Campania R & C.
It has some wear and a tiny tiny chip to the rim. Also some wear to the handle and a little minor surface scratching, but overall a stunning piece.
Dimensions: 2.1 ltr, 20.5 cm high / 3.5 pint, 8 ins high
