Maker: Spode  Pattern: Group

This is a fabulous boat shape tureen and fixed stand probably designed for a dessert service.
Backstamp: Incised 7 on both cover and base, which was a Spode code to match lid with base.
Fine all over crazing with some light discolouration to the stem of the tureen and just a touch to the cover and underneath the base. There is a tiny tiny chip to the inside rim of the cover and a little minor wear to the loop handle on the cover but overall this is a beautiful piece.

Dimensions: Tureen at neck 16.5 cm x 10 cm overall height 16.5 / Tureen at neck 6.5 ins x 4 ins, overall height 6.5
