Maker: Minton  Pattern: Miniature Series

Miniature Series is one of the finest transfer ware printed series of miniature china ever produced. It consists of 16 different topographical views, of which 12 are named, although sometimes the wrong backstamp has been applied and the name does not match the view. See Understanding Miniature British Pottery & Porcelain by Milbourn and An Illustrated Guide to Minton Printed Pottery by Priestman for extensive discussion on this series and the original source prints.
Backstamp: Lechlade Bridge on base.
A little wear underneath the base and a tiny tiny firing fault to one corner otherwise superb condition.
