Maker: Alcock  Pattern: Oriental blue with colour

Made by Samuel Alcock & Co of Cobridge and Burslem. These dessert size plates are decorated in their famous flow blue Oriental design, but here with a turquoise or green ground and gilt highlighting.
Backstamp: Typical blue printed cartouche with Oriental and SA&Co, plus pattern number 1265 in script.
Overall good condition, some wear where the border goes down into the bowl of each plate and the odd mark elsewhere. The glaze on six of the plates is finely crazed, but this is mainly visible or confined to the backs.
