Lovely pail shaped custard cup decorated with Rome or Tiber pattern.
Blue printed backstamp SPODE in rectangle.
Provenance: The personal collection of Gresham Copeland, passing by descent to his son Robert Copeland. Collection identification label on back AGC D401.
Sadly there is a hairline down one side from the rim for 1.25" 3cm and a small chip under the foot. Otherwise excellent condition.
