Maker: Ridgway  Pattern: Dresden

This is an absolutely superb very large ewer, although it has had something of a life!
No backstamp but we have attributed this to Ridgway.
It has restoration and a hairline to the spout and a hairline to the rim has also been restored. There is a small hairline to the top of the handle and another to the base which has been restored. It is crazed with associated discolouration although this is mainly inside and there is some wear to the rim and handle and the handle also has a small firing fault. If you are still reading this and have not been totally put of a fabulous piece I will say that the body is still bright and clean and the sheer size and beauty of the pattern make this a piece to be desired.
