Maker: Unattributed Maker Pattern: Byron Gallery
This stand is printed with a scene from Lord Byron's famous love poem She Walks in Beauty. This is one of a series of scenes that go to make-up this pattern Byron Gallery produced by an unknown maker. Goodwins & Harris produced a similar pattern and both were inspired by The Byron Gallery, a book of engravings depicting scenes from Byron's poetic works, first published in 1832 and re-issued at least twice in 1838 and 1844.
