Maker: Wedgwood  Pattern: Chinese Temples

Also known as Blue Chinese Temples and Chinese pattern. This is a magnificent large mug, which for its size is surprisingly finely potted. It has a different scene on each side, both from the Chinese Temples series pattern. which Wedgwood is believed to have introduced about 1828.
Impressed backstamp WEDGWOOD and blue printed H, K, R or B with dot beneath.
Amazingly fine condition, with some lines of crazing to the glaze inside and on foot, but otherwise almost as new.
