Maker: Wedgwood  Pattern: Peony

This is magnificent, decorated with Wedgwood's famous Peony design and with gilt decoration to rim and foot. Beautifully decorated with the pattern both inside and out. A massive punch bowl or centrepiece, which would grace any table. It is difficult to convey its stature by photographs alone.
Impressed backstamp Wedgwood, plus a D and date code ATA for April 1872.
There is a little wear to the gilt and a few signs of use, but otherwise it is in superb condition and rings beautifully.
