Maker: Minton Pattern: Monks Rock Series
Widely considered to be one of Mintons finest engraved patterns, Monks Rock is a series of rural scenes named after the first scene to be identified. This scene is known as Thatched Cottage.
No maker's backstamp only an impressed 3.
There is a small area of restoration on the rim at 2 o'clock and the glaze is finely crazed, with some utensil marks to face. Otherwise this is a bright and clean plate in excellent condition.
