Maker: Mellor Venables Pattern: Whampoa
Gorgeous small platter printed in a rich dark blue.
Backstamp: Whampoa and impressed Mellor Venables Royal Patent.
On the front there is a little loss of glaze to the stilt marks, a touch of surface scratching and touch of wear to part of the rim. On the back there is a small manufacturing chip which has been glazed over, so barely noticeable. Overall a fabulous platter.
Dimensions: 31 cm x 25.5 cm / 12.25 ins x 10 ins
