Maker: Alcock Pattern: Oriental
Made by Samuel Alcock & Co of Cobridge and Hill Pottery, Burslem, Staffordshire, active from 1828 to 1853. Magnificent large meat platter printed in a bold flow blue in Alcock's popular Oriental pattern.
Backstamp: Oriental SA.
There are some lines of crazing in the glaze, otherwise it is in lovely condition, with only a few signs of use and really clean and bright.
