Maker: Spode  Pattern: Dragon

Bone china with gilt decoration. Fabulous oval pot, which may originally have been a large sugar, with fixed ring decoration each end. This pattern was made by several makers, including Spode, Coalport and Miles Mason and most often on bone china tea wares.
No maker's backstamp, but from pattern detail and shape we have attributed this piece to Spode.
There is some wear to the gilt. Inside the pot a few blemishes and underneath the cover some wear resulting in some loss of glaze. Overall in good condition.
