Maker: Davenport  Pattern: Rustic Scenes Series

An absolutely stunning dish with a charming rural scene surrounded by a bold floral border. Rustic Scenes is aeries of different views and this one depicts a woman with a sheaf of corn on her head, a boy with firewood and a small dog returning home
Backstamp: Davenport above an anchor.
A hairline to the rim at 7 o'clock has been professionally restored and there is a light all over crazing and a little wear to the inner rim resulting in a very little loss of glaze here and there. Overall a fabulous piece.
