Maker: Twigg  Pattern: Orchard

This pattern is usually associated with Joseph Twigg & Bros of Newhill Pottery and Kilnhurst Pottery, Yorkshire active 1822 to 1881. A charming design of a gentleman up a ladder picking apples with his children below and lady watching from a rustic bench. Here printed in a slightly deeper blue than usual.
No backstamp, so the attribution to Twigg cannot be certain.
A little wear and discolouration to the rim and handle and elsewhere some manufacturing blemishes.
