Maker: Ridgway  Pattern: British Scenery Series

John & William Ridgway. This is a fabulous oval meat pot with full scenic pattern around the outside and border pattern to the inside rim. The scene is an oddity in the British Scenery Series as it depicts Ponte Molle or Milvian Bridge, which spans the River Tiber in northern Rome.
No backstamp.
Light crazing with just a little minor discolouration and small blemish which has discoloured inside. Underneath there is a large chip to the foot which barely shows through. Overall a delightful little piece.

Dimensions: 14.5 cm x 10 cm & 6.5 cm deep / 5.75 ins x 4 ins & 2.5 ins deep
