Maker: Unattributed Maker Pattern: Amherst Japan colour
Fabulous footed bowl with ochre rim, beautifully decorated both inside and out and to the foot and with decorative moulded detail around the body and to the foot.
Backstamp: Amherst Japan Ironstone.
A little wear to the ochre rim, light all over crazing and inside surface scratching. Underneath and to the side are two small star hairline, but these do not go through. All sounds much worse than it looks, this is a really lovely bowl.
Dimensions: 21 cm diameter, 12 cm deep / 8.25 ins diameter, 4.75 ins deep
