Maker: Ridgway Pattern: Unidentified Pattern blue with colour
A most unusual plate, with slightly deeper foot rim than usual for a plate. Made by William Ridgway Son & Co of Hanley active 1841-1846.
Backstamp: Patent Ironstone China Hot Water Plate WRS & Co James Dixon & Sons - the latter were retailers. In script 182.
There is some wear to the outer rim and a little surface scratching, overall excellent condition.
