Maker: Ridgway  Pattern: Parrot Border Series

This well known series is now usually attributed to John & William Ridgway of Shelton, Hanley, Staffordshire, partly because a successor company Cauldon reproduced the series about 1900, seemingly from the original printing plates. Lovely border pattern around inside and outside rim and along the handle. Scene of Hindoo Pagodas below Barrackpore on the Ganges on both sides of the body.
No backstamp.
Light all over crazing with a little minor discolouration inside and underneath and a very small area below the spout. overall excellent condition.
