Maker: Folch Pattern: Bamboo and Basket colour
The pattern on this fabulous drainer is illustrated in Godden's Guide to Ironstone on page 243. It stands on six small feet and has a lustre rim.
Backstamp: Pre-1837 Royal Coat of Arms, Imp Iron Stone China Stoke Works.
There is some surface scratching and wear to the rim with the wonderful hand made feature of not being quite flat, indeed it resembles a small wave (or ripple!). On the back there is a little minor discolouration.
