Maker: Wedgwood and Co Pattern: Asiatic Pheasants
This is either a small wine cooler or a large centre-piece bowl as part of a dessert service. It is beautifully patterned both inside and out with moulded detail around the body and two ornate side handles. This is a rare item in Asiatic Pheasants.
Backstamp: The Original Manufacturers of Asiatic Pheasants Wedgwood & Co.
A little light crazing, inside to the base some loss of glaze to the stilt marks and minor wear around the rim. There is also a crack to the foot. Overall an absolutely stunning piece.
Dimensions: 25,5 cm diameter at top, 12.5 cm high / 10 ins diameter at top, 5 ins high
