Maker: Burgess and Leigh  Pattern: Unidentified Pattern colour

Burleigh. A very pretty hexagonal vase. Hand painted floral decoration on a printed muted blue and white floral background. Once with gilt rims but the gilt is now almost completely worn away. Light crazing to the glaze and inside to the base there a pretty scary firing crack, but this does not go through at all.
Blue printed backstamp B&L, Burleigh Ware, Burslem, England. In gold script 43 over 1615 plus incised 43 for shape number?
