Made in England. Brand new and first quality. Dark Blue Calico. The first pottery model of a Spaniel was created in Staffordshire some 175 years ago. Usually sold in pairs they became a decorative symbol of the Staffordshire Potteries. Originally modelled on the Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, it was Queen Victoria and her love for her spaniels that inspired the Staffordshire potters. This item has been discontinued by Burleigh and is no longer available.
