Maker: Booths Pattern: Real Old Willow
With gilt. Backstamp: Booths Manufacturers of Silicon China for Dinner, Tea, Dessert, Toilet Services, Ornamental Goods etc.
This would have been a sample that salesmen showed to retailers, tempting them to stock Real Old Willow and it is also the right size to hold business cards. It is very pretty with decorative beading around the rim. There is some light crazing with just a hint of discolouration and a little wear to the gilt.
Provenance: The Entwistle Collection.
Dimensions: 13 cm x 10 cm & 2 cm high / 5.25 ins x 4 ins & 0.75 ins high
