Maker: Burgess and Leigh Pattern: Chinese Peacock
Originally introduced about 1913 as Chinese Peacock, later known as Bluebird and more recently Regal Peacock. This is a fabulous eight sided bowl beautifully patterned both inside and out.
Backstamp: B & L Burleigh Weare Burslem England.
Light all over crazing with a few minor blemishes inside and underneath a tiny chip to the foot. None of which detract from this gorgeous piece.
Dimensions: 21.5 cm across, 11 cm deep / 8.5 ins across, 4.25 ins deep
