Maker: Burleigh Pattern: Calico
Dark blue Calico, made in England by Burgess and Leigh. Lovely dish with cover. The cover having a scroll finial rather than the loop finial of the more recent vegetable dishes.
Backstamp: Calico Burleigh Staffordshire.
To the rim of the cover there is a tiny chip which would have occurred during manufacture and has been glazed, otherwise excellent condition.
