Maker: Cauldon Pattern: Blue May
This shape is copied from the original Portland vase. In excellent condition, there is light crazing to the glaze. Has a blue printed backstamp Blue May Cauldon England and a black printed Arkinstall & Son, Arcadian backstamp, which has been struck through. At this time both companies produced their china in the same factory and the transferer must have initially put the wrong backstamp on.
Dimensions: 21.5 cm high / 8.5 ins high
