Maker: Cauldon  Pattern: Chariot

This style is a lovely shape for a jardiniere, as it has the moulding of a panelled and ribbed wooden tub for the garden. Despite its "bulk" it is quite finely potted, which may be why this one has been fired slightly out of true and rocks just a little on its feet! A charming reminder that these were made individually by hand. A touch of crazing to the underside of the base otherwise in superb condition. Usual blue printed backstamp.
