Maker: Cauldon  Pattern: Chariot

This is a cracker of a caddy. It is hexagonal and stands on six small feet, one on each corner. The cover has a deep cobalt knop and all in all it is a decorative and rare item.
There are two tiny nicks under one foot, which may have occurred in manufacture, and the tiniest of nicks on another foot. On the cover there is a small firing crack on the rim, which occurred in manufacture. We try to describe in the minutest detail, but frankly this is in lovely condition. The glaze is sound and as bright as the day it was made. Really wonderful piece.
