Maker: Cauldon Pattern: Chariot
With gilt. An unusual piece, this pot is pierced at the top and the foot unscrews to allow filling with pepper.
Backstamp: Green printed Cauldon England
The stopper has light crazing and the gilt is quite worn. Underneath the pot there is some damage around the opening, not noticeable when stopper in situ'.
