Maker: Spode  Pattern: Italian

This is the rare shape of biscuit jar, seen less often than the 1930s biscuit barrel with the cane handle. The cover has a round knob handle and fits over the rim of the jar. The cover seems slightly large, but it is the original.
The glaze is crazed, otherwise lovely condition.
Blue printed oval backstamp.
