Maker: Spode Pattern: Italian
The popular Melba bowl with gently flared rim and pattern on the inside only. This was a promotional free gift with Sunlight Soap in the mid 1930s, although production continued through to the 60s.
Backstamp: Copeland Spode's Italian England, impressed Copeland Crown and date for 1935.
Light crazing with a couple of very minor manufacturing blemishes inside and underneath a little discolouration. Sounds much worse than it looks.
Dimensions: 24 cm diameter 6.5 cm deep / 9.5 ins diameter 2.5 ins deep
