Maker: Doulton Pattern: Gloire de Dijon
With gilt. Impressive large bowl, beautifully patterned inside and outside and to the foot.
Backstamp: Doulton Burslem Gloire de Dijon England Rd No 307815.
There is surface scratching inside to the base, the gilt is very worn, there are a few small areas to the rim which have lost glaze and on the outside there are three very small pieces of grit in the glaze. Oh dear, this makes it sound awful, but it is a stunning piece.
Dimensions: 30 cm diameter, overall height 16.5 cm / 12 ins diameter, overall height 6.5 ins
