Maker: Furnivals  Pattern: Quail

This is a delight! Sauce tureen complete with stand, cover and ladle. The body of the tureen is gently moulded rising to a wavy rim. Two pretty shell like side handles, one of which has a tiny under rim chip. The ladle has the border pattern only around the rim of the bowl, it has the occasional manufacturing blemish, but overall is excellent. The cover is exquisite, with a pretty finial surrounded by embossed decoration in the shape of leaves. Overall it would be difficult to find a prettier sauce tureen.
