Maker: Jones George  Pattern: Abbey

This wash bowl would have been part of a toilet set. There were at least three different shapes of ewer and two of bowls. This bowl is decorated inside and out and has an indentation running round the everted rim.
One tiny rub to rim, some crazing of the glaze, but overall in excellent condition.
Blue printed backstamp Abbey 1790 in the cartouche, with George Jones & Sons above and Made in England beneath.
