Maker: Jones George  Pattern: Abbey

This jug or pitcher is an unusual shape for Abbey. It is square or octagonal depending how you view the indented and fluted body! It may be be Jones' Royal shape, which normally applied to dishes, but transported to a jug could look like this.
The glaze is finely crazed, but apart from that it is perfect, quite white, bright and clean.
